Hot air balloons showcase is weather-dependent, we reserve the right to delay, reschedule, cancel sessions, or adjust elements of the balloon festival. Even with less-than-ideal hot air balloon weather, you can still enjoy our other offerings, such as Music on Air, lively carnivals, and delicious gourmet food.

Admission ticket does not include the 'Tethered Ride Experience' activity. If you wish to participate in the Tethered Ride Experience activity, please visit the official website for the latest ticketing information and activity details.
Admission is free for children at 3 or younger when accompanied by an adult with ticket.
Children aged 14 or below must be accompanied by an adult for event admission.

The average set up time for the big hot air balloon is anywhere from 20 to 40 minutes, depending on the size of the balloon. Hot air balloons are typically inflated in early morning or late afternoon because these times offer the most stable atmospheric conditions and often the calmest winds, which are ideal for ballooning.
While the basic concept is straightforward - heating air to make it lift - the actual process of inflation involves a combination of technical knowledge, practical skills and appreciation for the force of nature. Come join us for a behind-the-scenes experience to explore how inflation teams prepare the large hot air balloons.

AIA Balloon Run is a family-friendly community event as part of the International Hot Air Balloon Fest. Sign up the whole family for a morning run and stay after the race to enjoy the Balloon Fiesta.

Night Glow Show
Experience the enchanting Hot Air Balloon Night Glow Show, where vibrant balloons illuminate the night sky in a stunning spectacle of color, music, and magic.
Every night at AIA International Hot Air Balloon Fest, enjoy a special parade of hot air balloons that glow against the Victoria Harbour skyline. The glow show is synchronised with music. This captivating display will delight visitors of all ages!
